Simon Poulton - Business Recovery and Turnaround, Corporate Finance

Simon Poulton generally undertakes roles as Chief Restructuring Officer, Turnaround Director, Chief Financial Officer or Chief Operating Officer and also operates as a Non-Executive Director.

He is a member of various turnaround and key executive panels operated by professional services firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Deloitte and Ernst & Young and is involved, also on a non-exclusive basis, with a number of private equity houses and UK and European banking institutions. He also holds a Practising Certificate for the Institute for Turnaround.

He undertook his first independent consultancy contract in 1993 and from 1993 until 2002 was in full time permanent employment mostly operating as a Chief Financial Officer of publicly quoted companies. In these roles, he concentrated on turning around under-performing businesses and also supported the growth of new and emerging companies through private and public equity fund raising.

Since 2002, he has operated as an Independent Executive.
